Introducing the Nomos Tangente Neomatik Platinum Gray
The Tangente neomatik platinum gray is the latest novelty from Nomos, established as the brand’s best-selling model and one of the most famous watches produced in Germany. The new Tangente neomatik features a platinum gray dial, and two sizes case, in 35 and 39mm.
Like the other Tangente models, the new watch shares key features such as a coin-shaped steel case, straight lugs, slender bezel, smooth sapphire crystal glass, Arabic numerals, small seconds and slim hands.
On the outside, the steel case has a reduced height of only 6.9mm and 7.1mm if the solid or open-through case back is chosen, making the watch much more wearable and comfortable on the wrist.
The new Tangente neomatik platinum gray is distinguished by its gray dial, black hour markers, plated rhodium hands, small seconds with spiral motif and the “neomatik” inscription in gold below the brand name at 12 o’clock.
Inside, it is powered by the DUW 3001 automatic movement that operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 43 hours of power reserve. This can be seen through if you opt for the open case back, or not if you prefer to opt for the solid case base that allows the possibility of recording personalized text up to 88 characters long.
The watch is offered with a black remborde strap of Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan, priced at €2,440 and €2,580 for the 35 and 39mm sizes.
Our Opinion
It seems to us to be a smart addition as it combines the classic design of the Tangente model with the sobriety of the platinum gray dial, which is completed in the availability in two moderate sizes that will hardly leave anyone out of the new Tangente neomatik.
