Introducing The New Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Pineapple Dream
The new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Pineapple Dream is the result of the Swiss watch brand’s latest collaboration with BlogtoWatch’s Ariel Adams.
Its warm colours in shades of green and yellow could well be one of the summer hits if we hadn’t already entered the autumn season, however, regardless of the moment chosen for its launch, it will hardly escape becoming one of the dive watches more appealing for the bath season.
Starting from the outside, it wears the usual round stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and 13.60mm thick, and a lug distance of 47.50mm which, although not large, still seems too long to us. The unidirectional bezel is painted green with a gradient effect that from the dark bottom evolves to a faded yellow at the top and with a yellow diving scale. Sapphire glass on the front and screwed solid case back, screw-down crown and 200m water resistance.
The beautiful dial in green tones follows the bezel, presenting the same gradient effect whose dark background almost brushes black and turns into a light green/yellow at the top. In it we can also find a light green chapter ring, applied hour markers outlined in two shades, in yellow from 10 to 2 o’clock and in green for the remaining 7 hours, which, like the green hands for the hours and minutes, are filled with white Super-LumiNova, finally the yellow lollipop centre seconds hand comes with a black counterweight in the shape of a pineapple.
Inside it is powered by Caliber STP 1-21 which is COSC certified, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 40 hours of power reserve. The automatic movement is protected by a steel case that is engraved with a pineapple in the centre and with the special message “Slice of The Good Life” by Ariel Adams with the aim of making people remember the important places and things they have done.
In addition to the Jubilee-type steel bracelet, the set also comes with an additional nylon strap matching the dial tone and shape of tropical leaves.
