Introducing The New Yema Urban Sport Trilogy
It is with a trio of watches that the French watchmaking brand Yema begins the season, with the new ‘Urban Sport Trilogy’ collection that enshrines the sea, sky and land.
And so that no enthusiast feels left out, the collection features the “Yachtingraf” dedicated to maritime sports, the “Rallygraf” dedicated to motor sports and the “Flygraf” dedicated to aviation.
The three watches feature the same retro-style stainless steel case measuring 39mm in diameter and 11.70mm thick with angular lugs that also equips the Rallygraf Alpine Endurance Team model and which comes with a vertical brushed finish. Flat sapphire crystal, rotating bezel with black aluminum insert, fluted crown with the brand’s signature, screwed case back engraved with the brand’s coat of arms and 100m waterproof.
The Yatchingraf comes with a Regatta Race countdown bezel, with the final 15 minutes highlighted in red and blue, which matches the matte blue dial, which is adorned with a white second track on the inner flange, a raised ring with applied hour markers and pencil hands all filled with Super-LumiNova and finally a center seconds hand with an arrow-shaped tip.
While the Flygraf comes equipped with a black external bezel and a yellow internal one with different scales that together offer a multitude of in-flight calculations. On the brushed black dial, in addition to the yellow ruler, we can find a matching center seconds hand in the same tone and a higher ring with applied hour markers that, like the hour and minute hands, are filled with luminescent material.
Finally, the Rallygraf comes with a ‘Kilometres’ bezel that, together with the elapsed time graduation drawn on the dial’s flange, allows you to calculate the average speed. The matte black dial comes with printed hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova that also bring the hands to life in the dark, a red centre seconds hand and the checkered flags at 6 o’clock that have been a signature of Rallygraf models since the 70s.
All models come equipped inside with the In-house Caliber Yema 2000 automatic movement, which operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The watches come attached to a steel bracelet or a leather strap matching the dial, which can be purchased individually for the prices of USD 1,095 and USD 1,020 respectively or together in a special box for the price of USD 3,285.
