Introducing The New Yema Superman 500 Dato
Yema has just reinforced its iconic Superman 500 collection with two new models, which, in addition to the new colourations on the dial, now come with a date complication.
The two new variants, one with a white dial and one with a green/khaki dial join the two existing regular variants in black and blue in addition to the right-hand limited edition in grey.
On the outside, there’s no news featuring the same 316L steel case with 39mm or 41mm in diameter by 13.4mm thick, unidirectional bezel with the emblematic clamp next to the crown, double domed sapphire crystal, solid case back with Yema’s historic crest and the impressive 500m of water resistance.
The new dials are presented in the usual collection layout, hour markers and hands filled with Super-LumiNova, which in the case of the new khaki variant comes in a beige tone (as also happens with the regular black variant) including the 12 o’clock marker on the bezel, arrow-shape minute hand, centre seconds hand with a luminescent tip with a red point and now with the novelty date window at three o’clock.
Inside, runs the In-house automatic movement Caliber 2000, reaching 28,800 Vph and offering up to 42 hours of power reserve.
Like the rest of the models in the collection, the new Superman 500 Dato comes attached to a steel bracelet with a secure lock and a diver’s extension or with a black FKM Viton rubber strap, adding an extra oyster steel bracelet either option.
The two new Supermans will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, May 23, 2023, and it is estimated that they will start shipping at the end of June. Prices range from €1,249 to €1,329 for the steel bracelet and FKM rubber strap options respectively.
