Introducing The New Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding 35MM In Rose Gold And Diamonds

After seeing the arrival of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas at the beginning of this year in reduced sizes of 34.5mm and 35mm, the brand now presents us with a new 35mm variant entirely in gold with a diamond-set bezel.

The third-generation sports model with an integrated bracelet designed to mark the 222nd anniversary of the prestigious Swiss watchmaker, today has a wide range of models of different sizes and with different complications.

The new Overseas, which now arrives in addition to the case entirely in rose gold, stands out for its octagonal bezel inspired by the Maltese Cross adopted as the brand’s symbol, and which is hand-set with 90 diamonds of 0.86ct.

The 35mm diameter and 9.30mm thick case features a vertical brushed finish on the surface of the case that extends to the bracelet and a polished finish on the edges. Sapphire crystal on the front and case back, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock and 150m water resistance.

The dial follows the same monochrome pattern as the case featuring a gold background with a sunburst satin-brushed finish, where there are applied gold hour markers and pencil hands all filled with Super-LumiNova, a center seconds hand matching the framed date window at 3 o’clock, and the applied Maltese Cross at noon followed by the brand’s lettering in black.

At its heart runs the In-house automatic movement Caliber 1088/1 with 144 parts, which is protected by a soft iron ring against magnetic fields, reaching 28,800 Vph and offers up to 40 hours of power reserve. Also noteworthy is the 22k gold rotor embedded with the compass rose that can be seen through the open rear case.

In addition to the matching bracelet, the set also includes two additional straps, one in leather and one in rubber, both in white tones.

The new Vacheron Constantin Overseas is already available at the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers and can be purchased for €63,500.
