Introducing The New Triptyque Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Khaki
Louis Erard and Alain Silberstein collaborate again and bring back a new Triptyque, this time in khaki.
After the Le Triptyque in white and the Le Diptyque in black, there is now a new trio of watches with different complications that join the previous Le Régulateur and La Semaine with a new Le Régulator Tourbillon that replaces the mono-pusher chronograph of the previous Triptyque series.
The three watches feature the same case construction supported on top of two independent lugs, both structures made of titanium of different grades that provide them with different tones. The round case measuring 40mm in diameter and 11.80mm thick, comes with anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides, conical crown, open back case and 100m water resistance.
The dials, which are now presented with a matte khaki background, come with the usual configuration of atypical colourful geometric shapes that here combine red-yellow-white tones leaving behind the blue, which without taking away the identity of the watch, gives it greater sobriety.
On Le Régulateur we can find a black sub-dial at noon with white and red accents and a red triangle-shaped hand that tells the time, at the opposite end at 6 o’clock another sub-dial with just a white track and a yellow wavy hand that shows the seconds, and finally, in the centre a long white arrow-shaped hand that shows the minutes. Inside, it is powered by the Élaboré-Grade Sellita SW266-1 automatic movement, which operates at a 4Hz frequency and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.
La Semaine, which is the one that most resembles a conventional watch without major complications, comes with three atypical central hands, a red pointer with a balloon-shaped outline and a triangular tip for the hours, an arrow-shaped hand white sized for the minutes and a wavy yellow hand that shows the seconds. At six we can still find a date window with a white background and above it the Alain Silberstein signature ‘Mood of the day’. Powered by the Élaboré-Grade automatic Sellita Sw220-1 movement that reaches 28,800 Vph and offers the same 38 hours of power reserve.
Finally, the new Le Régulateur Tourbillon, features exactly the same configuration as the conventional Le Régulateur, with the exception of the small seconds which is replaced here by a 60-second tourbillon. Internally powered by Olivier Mory’s BCP T02 manual movement, which operates 21,600 Vph and offers an incredible 100 hours of power reserve.
The three watches are attached to a khaki nylon strap with velcro and the first two can be purchased individually for the price of CHF 4,000 (excl. VAT) limited to 178 units each, 78 of which are reserved for the set of three watches and is the only way to acquire the new Le Régulateur Tourbillon, for the price of €22,222 (excl. taxes).
