Introducing The New Seiko Presage Cocktail Time Star Bar SRPK75 And SRE014
Seiko has just unveiled two new Presage Cocktail Time Star Bar limited editions, expanding its range of affordable chic watches.
As had already happened in 2022, the Japanese watch brand once again collaborated with master cocktail maker Hisashi Kishi to bring two new watches inspired by the Tokyo sunset, which now promise to embrace a wider audience as they come in two different sizes.
The SRPK75 ‘Purple Sunset’ comes in a round stainless steel case in the same size as the previous collaborations, with 40.50mm in diameter, 11.80mm in thickness and 47.50mm lug-to-lug distance, smooth bezel, hardless crystall on both sides, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and 50m waterproof.
The dial, which is once again the main star here, comes with a pattern of horizontal stripes in a gradient tone, starting at the bottom in burgundy tones and transforming into purple at the top. Featuring gilt applied hour markers and faceted Dauphine hands whose formula also extends to the date window frame next to the crown and the brand’s lettering at noon.
The watch comes equipped with the 4R35 automatic movement with hacking seconds, reaching 21,600 Vph and offering up to 41 hours of power reserve.
The other edition is the SRE014 ‘Pinky Twilight’, a version clearly aimed at the female market due to its small dimensions, 30.30mm in diameter, 10.90mm in thickness and 37mm lug-to-lug distance, which also comes in a round steel case but it here with a gold-coated finish. Featuring hardlex glass, crown inlaid with the brand’s ‘S’, solid case back with individual numbering and 50m water resistance.
The dial, which follows the same horizontal gradient pattern, appears here in yellow tones at 6 o’clock, turning into pink tones until 12 o’clock. Which comes with the same layout and gilt accents as the other edition discussed above.
Inside is the Caliber 2R05 automatic movement that brings the watch to life by offering the same three centre hands and date window, and which comes with a power reserve of 40 hours.
The two watches should hit the market next February, attached to a calfskin leather strap in burgundy (SRPK75) and brown (SRE014) with a folding clasp in the same tone as the case.
The SRPK75 limited to 9,000 pieces arrives priced at £490, whilst the SRE014 is available in 5,000 pieces priced at £520.
