The Patek Philippe Nautilus is back after in the early of this year announced the discontinuous of its iconic 5711 with blue dial that made many of brand lovers waiting long hours in front of the brand boutiques seeking for a least one 5711 to add to their collections. This new Nautilus comes with the trend of the moment, as I already talk more than was supposed to about it, in an olive-green dial, if I see that coming? Honestly, not really, despite it’s not a novelty in PP universe, namely the Aquanaut, is far away from the classic blue one and if it’s come to fill that gap, I suppose not, but time will tell.
So, if you are now asking what this new Nautilus Ref. 5711/1A-014 brings new, that is the real challenge here. It’s come with the same 40mm stainless steel case, 8.3mm thickness, silver applied hour markers and baton hands with luminescence, date aperture at 3 o’clock, 120m of water resistance and exactly the same In-house automatic movement Caliber 26-330C and it is all. What about new? Besides the obvious green dial, the date aperture appears now with a polished silver frame, other possible little change can be in the date font, as I already had the opportunity to read in other articles about it, but it’s something that I can’t yet figure out.
There is another variant of this model that comes with a diamond bezel (Ref. 5711/1300A-001) that should be available for a price of € 84,360, while the price of the regular variant should be € 31,110.
