Introducing The New Marathon Navigator 41MM Steel Date Automatic
Marathon is a Canadian watch brand specializing in tool watches supplying the armed forces of different countries since 1940.
Its collection is made up of several reliable watches with a tactical and stealthy look that, in addition to security forces, also delight many fans.
The brand now adds to the Navigator collection, a new 41mm stainless steel variant that now comes with an automatic movement. A collection born in the 80s developed in partnership with Kelly AFB (Air Force Base) in Texas.
The watch once again embraces the asymmetrical steel case that is 41mm in diameter and 11mm thick, featuring a belly-shaped crown protection, which allows it to withstand high shocks, changes in altitude and different air pressures. The case comes with a sandblasted finish, drilled lugs, bidirectional bezel with 12h scale for a second time zone and pip-lume on top, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, screwed case back and 100m waterproof.
On the matte black dial, we find the usual arrangement of oversized Arabic numerals from 1 to 12 o’clock and undersized from 1 to 24 o’clock, applied hour markers and syringe hands all filled with Tritium that glows green and orange in the dark, a date window at 4:30 and a center seconds hand with a lumed tip.
Inside now lives the automatic movement Caliber Sellita SW200 with a 26-jewel, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The watch is offered with three strap options, a black rubber FKM strap priced at €1,549, a DEFSTAN nylon strap for €1,307 or a ballistic nylon strap for €1,271.
