Introducing The New Longines Master Collection GMT Gold Limited Edition

Longines kicks off the new year with the launch of two limited editions in its most classic line – Master Collection, which now wears gold and comes with a second time zone. 

The elegant watch, in addition to standing out from its peers for featuring a gold case, also comes with a redesigned dial with the usual refinement.

These exclusive models wear a round case in 2N 18k yellow gold or 5N 18k rose gold, each one limited to 500 units, measuring 40mm in diameter by 10.40mm in thickness, smooth bezel and polished finish. Sapphire crystal front and back, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and 30m of water resistance. 

On the white-silvered dials we can find applied Roman numerals and thin leaf hands in gold matching the case material, a printed railway minute track, a date window at 6 o’clock, a center seconds hand and a 24-hour inner flange that works in partnership with the black GMT hand, which sets the local time and can be adjusted in 1-hour increments as it is equipped with a GMT travel type. 

At the heart of the watches is the Caliber L844.5 automatic movement supplied by ETA, which reaches 25,200 Bph and offers a comfortable 3 days of power reserve. A highlight is its gold rotor adorned with Côtes de Genève and engraved with the brand’s logo, which can be seen through the open gold case back engraved with the inscription ‘ONE OF 500’. 

Both watches come attached to a grey-anthracite alligator leather strap with a pin buckle in the same material as the case, and can be purchased at the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for a price of €16,500.
