The Breguet Type XX ref. 2067 is a luxurious reinterpretation of the iconic Breguet Pilot Chronograph, blending heritage with contemporary craftsmanship. This timepiece, part of the civilian-inspired series, stands out with its elegant 18k pink gold case, paired beautifully with a deep blue dial and a matching ceramic insert bezel.
Measuring 42mm in diameter and 14.10mm thick, the case has a predominantly brushed finish, complemented by a bidirectional bezel with a 12-hour scale. The fluted crown at 3 o’clock is flanked by two pushers, and the open case back provides a glimpse of the intricate movement inside. The watch is also water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it practical for everyday wear.
The blue dial of the Breguet Type XX ref. 2067 offers a refined layout, typical of the civilian versions. It features three asymmetric registers positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, including an oversized 60-minute counter, a 12-hour register, and running seconds. A date window discreetly sits at 4:30, and two significant design upgrades enhance the aesthetic: applied gold Arabic numerals, replacing the previously printed ones, and syringe-shaped hands filled with Super-LumiNova, a departure from the earlier Dauphine style. These details combine to create a visually striking yet highly functional dial.
Inside the watch is Breguet’s in-house Caliber 728, an automatic flyback chronograph movement equipped with a column wheel and vertical clutch. This movement comprises 350 components, operates at a high frequency of 5 Hz, and offers a 60-hour power reserve. The movement is discreetly decorated, showcasing Breguet’s dedication to both precision and artistry.
