Introducing The New Bell & Ross 03-92 Diver Tara Ocean

Bell & Ross’ latest creation developed in partnership with Fondation Tara Océan aims to help protect the oceans.

It is in this context that the French environmental organization acts, studying and trying to anticipate the effects of climate change and pollution on marine biodiversity. This is how the new diving watch was created, designed with the help of the crew of the ‘Schooner Tara’, a vessel with an aluminium hull measuring 36 meters in length.

Inserted in the 2017 BR 03-92 Diver line, the new watch is presented with the traditional 42mm square-shaped case here in a blue ceramic, a unidirectional bezel in bicolour ceramic in blue and orange, with the latter marking the first 15m of its dive scale. Sapphire glass front and solid case back, screw-down crown protected with crown guards and 300m water resistance.

The blue dial follows the exterior colour of the watch, and on it, we can find a chapter ring with a white minute track, applied hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova that guarantees its reading even in the dark, a small and discreet round date window at 4:30, an orange lollipop centre seconds hand matching the inscription ‘Tara’ at 6 o’clock which is followed by ‘Ocean’ in white and two lines below referring to its water tightness, finally, the brand’s logo printed in white at noon.

Powered by the BR-Cal. 302 automatic movement based on the Sellita SW300, it can reach 28,800 Vph and offer up to 40 hours of power reserve.

The watch is attached to a blue woven rubber strap with a steel pin buckle with a blue PVD coating and an extra orange canvas strap.

It is a limited edition of 999 pieces priced at €5,700 with part of the funds going to the Foundation.
