Introducing The New Baltic Hermétique Glacier Limited Edition
After seeing Baltic debut the Hermétique Tourer collection in October last year, five months later the brand brings the collection to the fore again with two new limited edition models that arrive with textured dials inspired by ice.
Much has already been said about the brand and so let’s get straight to the point, the new watches, which are very similar to their peers, are distinguished by dials that try to replicate glacial landscapes, and that come in white or black.
So on the outside, the watch once again wears the round stainless steel case with dimensions of 37mm wide, 10.80mm high and 46mm lug-to-lug distance, which comes with a mainly brushed finish, polished smooth bezel, double-domed sapphire crystal, drilled lugs, recessed crown at 3 o’clock, solid case back and 150m waterproof.
The dial which comes with a background with craters, we can find the same layout as the rest of the collection which comprises applied full-lumed hour markers and Arabic numerals located at the four cardinal points which, like the two syringe hour and minute hands, come filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 that glows blue in the dark, a lollipop center seconds hand and even a railway minute track in the rehaunt.
Inside we once again find the Miyota 9039 automatic movement with 24 jewels, which reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The watches are attached to a Tropic FKM rubber strap matching the dial or to a flat-link or beads-of-rice steel bracelet.
As already mentioned, these are limited editions of 200 units per color that will be available from March 14th for a price of €738 if accompanied by a rubber strap or €817.95 if you instead opt for one of the steel bracelets.
