Introducing the New Baltic Aquascaphe Bronze Brown
In May 2020 Baltic presented the world with the first Aquascaphe Bronze with a blue sunray dial and only 5 months later it presents a second one but this time with a glossy black dial. Almost three years after the debut of the Aquascaphe Bronze, the French brand is preparing its third launch, this time with a beautiful brown gradient dial that now adds a sapphire bezel insert.
The new Aquascaphe Bronze looks similar to its older brothers on the outside, wearing a case measuring 39mm in diameter, 12mm thick and 47mm lug-to-lug distance in resistant bronze and aluminium alloy designated with the nomenclature ” CuAI8″ which over time develops a patina that makes each watch unique. Dome sapphire crystal, screwed crown with crown guards and 120 clicks bezel that now comes with a sapphire insert and still the same 200m of water resistance.
The brown gradient dial darkens from the centre outwards, ending up in an almost black tone matching the bezel. The gilt hour markers and Arabic numerals are filled with Super-LumiNova C1 and the same goes for the sword hands, the lollipop central seconds hand and the minute scale at the bezel.
Inside there is no news, keeping the Miyota 9039 automatic movement that comes with hacking seconds, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The watch is attached to a black tropic strap and can be purchased for exactly the same price as the previous two editions, €625 plus tax, although it now adds a sapphire bezel with Super-LumiNova filled markers.
