Introducing the H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Calendar
The H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Funky Blue is back, presented in 2015 by the brand, now reappearing in 2022 as an updated version in a 42mm diameter case and featuring the brand’s logo in transparent lacquer.
Moser & Cie defines this timepiece as one of the easiest to read, representing the brand’s philosophy since the creation of its first perpetual calendar in 2005.
So, how do you read the new perpetual calendar?
The small hand in the centre provides an indication of the month of the year, through the hour markers, starting at 1 o’clock representing the month of January and ending at 12 o’clock representing the month of December. The indication of the day of the month is provided by a large window at 3 o’clock that works through a jumping mechanism that makes the date change automatically at midnight. Finally, a leap year indicator is provided which you can see through the open case back next to the movement.
On the dial, in addition to the silver applied hour indexes and the leaf-shaped hands, you can find a small seconds at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock and as mentioned above, the brand’s logo transparent lacquer at 12 o’clock.
Outside, 18k white gold case, with curved sapphire crystal on the front and also on the back case. It is through the screw-down crown that it is possible to set the date and time at any time of the day, by the user and without risking accuracy, since unlike many other perpetual calendars on the market, this one does not require being set by a specialist.
Inside, operates the hand-wound movement Caliber HMC 800, which through its double-barrel offers up to seven days of power reserve.
Lastly, the watch is offered with a hand-stitched beige kudu leather strap with an 18k white gold clasp, the tutorial is limited to 20 pieces worldwide.
