Introducing The Fortis Flieger F-43 Fratello Capsule Edition

Fortis and Fratello come together to present a capsule edition of the Flieger F-43.

The new pilots’ chronograph arrives with a brown dial and black details replicating the same formula on the rubber strap.

Unsurprisingly, the new F-43 wears the robust stainless steel case measuring 43mm in diameter and 15mm thick with a brushed finish, 12-hour bidirectional concave bezel for a second time zone, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with two chrono pushers, solid case back with Fratello logo on the centre, and 200m of water resistance.

The brown dial comes with a vertical brushed finish whose effect resembles a wooden board, on which we can find a black outer minute ring that matches the background of the 30-minute counter, the date window and the running seconds at 3-6 -9 o’clock. Sword hands, which, like the printed hour markers, are filled with white Super-LumiNova, a chronograph centre seconds hand painted 2/3 in orange, the tone of which matches the contours of the date window, the 12-hour counter and the outer ring between the 11 and 1 hours and also the inscription ‘Bicompax’ at 6 o’clock.

Equipped with the Caliber UW-51 automatic movement based on the Sellita SW510, it reaches 28,800 Vph and offers two days of power reserve.

The new timepiece comes attached to a hybrid FKM rubber and fabric strap matching the dial tones. Although it is not a limited edition, it is a model that will be available exclusively at Fratello’s online store from October 25th for €2,980.
