Introducing The Exclusive Maurice De Mauriac L3 Gold Edition
To close the year with a flourish, Maurice de Mauriac brings to the table five new chronographs included in the L3 Gold Edition, which stand out for being unique and exclusive pieces, each inspired by the first place in the upcoming Olympics.
The five watches that share the same red gold case on the outside, present the dial in five color variants: Emerald Green, Cherry Blossom, Opalescent White, Spheric Blue and Spheric Brown. Inside, the buyer can choose between manual or automatic mechanical movement.
Thus, the new chronographs come dressed in a round case in 18k 5N red gold, 40.50mm in diameter by 12.99mm (manual) or 13.99 mm (automatic) thick, domed sapphire crystal, screw-in gold crown flanked by two pushers and sapphire case back.
On the dial we can find a layout with three registers at 3-6-9 o’clock materialized in a 60-minute counter, a 30-minute counter and a running seconds. Printed hour markers and pencil hands all filled with Super-LumiNova, a center chronograph seconds hand, a peripherical minute track and the brand’s inscriptions followed by its hometown at 12 o’clock.
Inside, as we mentioned above, it can come with the Concepto C2000 manual movement or the Concepto 2100-2120 automatic movement, which operates 28,800 Vph and offers 2 days of power reserve.
Each unique watch coming attached to a leather strap matching the dial tone, except for the Opalescent White and Spheric Blue models which come with a strap in different shades of brown.
The watches can be purchased exclusively online or at the Zurich Atelier, for a price of CHF 14,200 (manual movement) or CHF 14,700 (automatic movement) plus taxes.
