Introducing the Chopard Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF Titanium
The Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF Titanium is the latest model in Chopard’s Alpine Eagle collection, a collection launched only in 2019, exceeding all expectations and counting up to today with about 17 models. The new Alpine Eagle is a limited edition of 250 units that distinguishes itself by being built entirely in titanium and being armed with the impressive Caliber of high frequency 8 Hz, twice the standard automatic movements.
Featuring a customary distinctive case shape that highlights its collection, it comes 41mm in diameter and just 9.75mm thick, smooth bezel fixed by 8 screws, front and back sapphire glass, and integrated titanium bracelet. The entire case includes the bezel and the bracelet features a dark titanium hue with a satin finish, while the case bevels, the eight bezel screws, and the central cap of the bracelet links comes with a polished finish.
The dial is in “Vals Grey” tones with the so-called “eagle-iris” pattern, with rhodium-plated applied hour markers and numerals, and baton hour hands all filled with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova, date aperture at 4 ½ o’clock and the minimalist inscriptions of the brand name preceded by “8 HZ Chronometer” at 12 o’clock and the dynamic arrow-shaped logo (Chopard high-frequency movements signature) at 6 o’clock.
As we have already mentioned above, the latest model in the Alpine Eagle collection receives an also brand new and impressive high-frequency automatic movement Chopard 01.12-C with 57,600 Vph (8 Hz) with central rotor and silicon escape wheel, offering up to 60 hours of power reserve, it’s Chronometer certified by COSC.
The watch will be available at the brand’s official boutiques and retailers at the price of CHF 19,000.
Our Opinion
As fans of Gérald Genta’s classics like the AP Royal Oak and PP Nautilus, we couldn’t help but admire the Chopard Alpine Eagle, this edition in particular for the impressive high-frequency movement that we’re curious to be able to observe up close. We also liked the “new arrangement” of the minimalist dial with the unique Roman numerals at 12 o’clock.
