Introducing The Cartier Tank Cintrée In Platinum 100th Anniversary Edition
The Cartier Tank Cintrée in Platinum, which celebrates its first centenary this year, now arrives in a limited edition of 150 pieces to mark this historic milestone.
The model that stands out for its elongated curved case, arrives in a platinum case with the usual measurements of 46mm by 23mm, with the exception of the thickness that now measures 6mm, which means that it is slightly thinner, presenting a polished finish on the surfaces and brushed on the sides, mineral glass, ruby cabochon on the crown at 3 o’clock, solid back case in the same material as the case and no water resistance.
The off-white dial, in eggshell colour, comes with the usual simplistic design, materialized in printed black Roman numerals, a railway minute track and centre blue Breguet-style hands.
At its heart runs the Cartier manual movement Caliber 9780 MC, based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre 849 which operates at a low frequency and offers just a day and a half of power reserve.
The distinctive and elegant watch is attached to a black alligator leather strap with a platinum pin buckle. The numbered watch should arrive in the brand’s official boutiques at the end of September 2023 at a price of €34,700.
