Introducing The Breitling Chronomat Automatic 36 South Sea – Capsule Collection
Breitling launches a Chronomat Automatic 36 South Sea capsule collection, with three watches with dials in vibrant tones and adorned with precious stones on the dial and bezel, clearly aimed at women but also for confident men.
The watches come mounted in a traditional round stainless steel case in a moderate size of 36mm, bezel in 18k white gold or 18k red gold with a set-diamond, sapphire crystal, bullet-shaped crown at 3 o’clock and 100m water resistance.
On the dial, we can find applied hour markers with a diamond tip on the top and pencil hands all filled with Super-LumiNova, a centre seconds hand with a red arrow-shape tip and the brand’s logo as a counterweight, a minute chapter ring and finally, a date window at 6 o’clock.
As for the different variants, we have a variant with a sunray light blue dial and a white gold bezel adorned with diamonds in shades of blue and lilac. Then we have a variant with a sunray green dial that comes with a red gold bezel that matches the crown and accents on the dial, and which is adorned with diamonds in shades of blue, green and yellow. Lastly, a variant that comes with a rose mother-of-pearl dial with gilt accents and a white gold bezel filled with diamonds in shades of blue, green, yellow, red, pink and lilac.
All watches in the capsule collection come attached to an alligator leather strap in the same tone as the dial or, if you prefer, there is also the option of being attached to a traditional ‘Rouleaux’ steel bracelet.
Inside, it runs the Caliber B10 automatic movement which is COSC certified, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The watches are now available in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers, with prices ranging between €10,100 for the green version with leather strap and €10,500 for the blue and pink versions. Opting for a steel bracelet increases the final price by €2,000.
