Introducing The Baume & Mercier Hampton Polyptyque Edition Musée Soulages 10th Anniversary
Baume & Mercier collaborates again with the Musée Soulages for the second time, bringing a new limited edition inspired by Peinture Polyptyque.
This edition of 328 numbered pieces comes in a black case and with a matching dial that recreates the Peinture 324 x 362 cm, 1986, Polyptyque and pays tribute to Pierre Soulages who passed away in 2022, celebrating the 10th anniversary of his museum.
The exclusive watch wears the rectangular Hampton case that here comes in steel with a DLC coated, and the dimensions of 31mm wide, 48.11mm lug-to-lug distance and 10mm thick. Sapphire crystal, crown at 3 o’clock, case back hold with 4 screws and 50m water resistance.
The minimalist black textured dial features uneven vertical stripes and two central hands with 18k rose gold tips that match the brand’s lettering at 12 o’clock followed by “Geneve” and “Swiss Made” at the bottom.
Inside runs the ETA 2852 automatic movement with 21 jewels operating 28,800 Vph and offering up to 42 hours of power reserve, which can be seen through the glass of the rear case highlighting the black oscillating mass that is decorated with “Côtes de Genève “.
