Introducing The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar In Platinum
A. Lange & Söhne, which in 2021 introduced the Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar to the world in two gold versions, now arrives with a platinum case.
The new Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar, which adds a black dial to its platinum case, joins the regular version in pink gold with a grey dial, as the other one was a limited edition of 150 pieces in white gold with a pink gold dial that quickly sold out.
The elegant watch that only needs to be adjusted once every 122 years returns to its 41.20mm diameter by 12.10mm thick case, sapphire crystal on both sides and crown at 3 o’clock.
On the matte black dial, the usual busy layout, with an off-centre dial with Roman numerals, a big double date window at 10:30, a retrograde day of week indicator between 8 and 10 o’clock, a running seconds at 7 with a moon-phase aperture with a painting blue sky, a trapezoid leap year window at 6 and a month chapter ring.
Powered by the in-house automatic movement Caliber L021.3 with 621 parts, it reaches 21,600 Vph and offers up to 50 hours of power reserve. The movement, which is carefully hand-sculpted, features a gold rotor engraved with the name of the watchmaking brand.
The watch arrives attached to a black alligator leather strap hand-stitched, and the price is available upon request.
