Independent Watchmaker Rashid Tsoroev Presents The New Arrow Evo
Rashid Tsoroev, who we haven’t had the opportunity to talk about here yet, is a young talented Russian watchmaker aged just 27 who began his art at the age of 15.
In 2019 he started his independent atelier and in 2021 he debuted his first Arrow watch with many of its parts hand-crafted. And now two years later it brings us the new Arrow Evo which comes with some new features and a new movement.
The watch, which retains its round shape, wears a stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and 10mm thick, which is polished on the surfaces and brushed on the sides by hand, maintaining the sculpted lugs of the original model, sapphire crystal on the front and back, fluted crown which now appears redesigned and 50m waterproof.
The grained dial made from a solid piece of steel can be customized with a treatment in yellow gold, rose gold or rhodium according to the customer’s wishes, and on it we can find, hand-crafted applied Arabic numerals, ‘TR’ logo at noon, and hands with mirror polished on top and rounded arms, and satin finish on the sides.
At its heart we can now find the Swiss LJP (La Joux-Perret) G100 movement, a self-winding Caliber that replaces the ETA 2824, operating 28,800 Vph and offering up to 68 hours of power reserve. It is through the sapphire glass of the rear case fixed with 6 screws that we can observe the movement that comes with a skeletonized Tungsten rotor and decorated with stripes on the bridges and blue screws.
The watch, which is limited to 30 units, comes attached to a black leather alligator strap with a steel pin buckle, but which can also be customized with different materials, whatever the customer wishes.
