Hublot Presents the World’s First Minute Repeater in Ceramic
Hublot is the first watch brand to present a Minute Repeater in full ceramic to the world and taking the opportunity to add two more milestones, presenting the first Big Bang Integral in black and the first with a tourbillon.
It took 20 years of ceramic expertise to obtain this final result, in this sense, the brand refers to the complexity of the process whose minimum error led to the need to start the whole process from the scratch, but also to the hardness of the material both to machine and finish.
The new Hublot Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Cathedral Minute Repeater Ceramic now joins the Integral Ceramic collection presented in 2020 and which includes a full ceramic case, bezel, case back and bracelet. Powered by the In-house manual movement Caliber MHUB801 which offers up to 80 hours of power reserve, although being exceptional for a tourbillon it is miles away from the world record of 50 hours also held by a Hublot tourbillon.
It is a limited edition of 36 pieces of 43mm in diameter by 14.15mm in thickness, divided into two variants, one in black ceramic and the other in white ceramic and that can be purchased at the brand’s official stores and retailers for the price of € 291,000.
