Hublot Introduces The Meca-10 With A Streamlined Design
The new Hublot Meca-10 has been reimagined with a more compact design, reducing its case size from 45mm to an elegant 42mm. This refined proportion is made possible by an overhauled movement architecture, delivering a sophisticated and versatile aesthetic for watch enthusiasts.
Crafted in King gold, titanium, or forged carbon, the 42mm case features a thickness of 13.90mm and a striking design that includes sapphire crystals on both sides. The raised bezel, secured by six signature screws, adds a bold statement, while the crown positioned at 3 o’clock ensures ergonomic functionality. With a water resistance of 100 meters, this watch is as durable as it is stylish.
The skeletonized dial showcases a revamped layout, moving the power reserve indicator to 3 o’clock, while the small seconds function resides at 9 o’clock for balanced symmetry. Indexes and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, enhancing legibility, and a flange with a precise minute track surrounds the dial, offering a blend of form and function.
Beneath the surface, the open-back case highlights the intricate architecture of the hand-wound Manufacture Calibre HUB1205. This movement, supported by three horizontal bridges, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivers an exceptional 10-day power reserve. The craftsmanship and technical expertise are evident in the movement’s 29 jewels and meticulous finishing.
