Hublot continues to push the boundaries of innovation with the introduction of the Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic, the world’s first timepiece featuring a multi-colored ceramic case. This groundbreaking release, limited to just 20 pieces, marks the culmination of over four years of research, showcasing Hublot’s leadership in advanced materials.
Encased in a 42mm black ceramic case with a micro-sandblasted and polished finish, the Big Bang Unico Magic Ceramic debuts a revolutionary multi-colored ceramic bezel featuring a unique blue bubbles motif against a gray ceramic base. The signature Big Bang design remains intact, with the bezel secured by six titanium screws, a fluted titanium crown at 3 o’clock, and two pushers for chronograph functionality. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the watch also features an open case back and 100 meters of water resistance.
The openworked dial follows Hublot’s distinctive asymmetrical layout, featuring a 60-minute chronograph counter with a date window at 3 o’clock and a running seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Arabic numerals, baton hour markers, and pencil hands are generously filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability. A domed minute ring sits at the edge of the dial, while the center chronograph seconds hand adds to the dynamic aesthetic. The Hublot logo, elegantly printed on the sapphire crystal at noon, enhances the watch’s futuristic appeal.
