Hublot And Yohji Yamamoto Return With The Classic Fusion All Black Camo
Hublot expands its exploration of monochrome watchmaking with the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo, a limited edition that develops the brand’s long-running “All Black” concept through texture rather than contrast. This model marks the fourth collaboration between Hublot and Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto and introduces a black-on-black camouflage motif for the first time within their partnership.

Case and Construction
The watch is housed in a 42 mm black ceramic case, a material selected for its combination of light weight, scratch resistance, and matte visual presence. The Classic Fusion case retains its slim and streamlined profile, with alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces creating subtle definition despite the uniform black color.

An integrated hybrid strap completes the case, featuring a rubber lining for comfort and flexibility paired with a woven black fabric exterior. The strap is secured by a folding clasp constructed from black ceramic and titanium, ensuring durability while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
Dial and Display
The most distinctive feature of the watch is its dial, which incorporates a camouflage pattern executed entirely in black. The motif is created using two different shades of black arranged in a raised, textured surface. Rather than relying on color contrast, the dial’s appearance shifts depending on lighting conditions and viewing angles, giving the camouflage pattern depth and visual movement.

Applied hour markers and hands are finished in black and intentionally omit luminescent material, reinforcing the All Black philosophy. The date display at 3 o’clock uses a black date disc with dark grey numerals, keeping the complication discreet and integrated into the overall design. Dial text is kept to a minimum, with the Hublot logo positioned at 12 o’clock, Yohji Yamamoto’s signature placed above 6 o’clock, and “Swiss Made” printed below it. All text elements appear in a muted grey-black tone to preserve the monochromatic theme.
Movement
On the reverse side, the watch features a smoked sapphire crystal caseback that partially reveals the movement while continuing the stealth aesthetic. Powering the watch is the Hublot Calibre HUB1110, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW300 architecture. The movement offers automatic winding, a central seconds hand, a date function, and an approximate power reserve of 42 hours.
Limited Edition and Presentation
The Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo is produced as a limited edition of 300 pieces. Each example is delivered in a dedicated black presentation box, designed with an oversized bezel motif and featuring Yohji Yamamoto’s signature as a finishing detail.
Price and Availability
The watch is priced at € 12,000 and is available through Hublot boutiques worldwide, with online availability depending on region. It offers a distinctive interpretation of the All Black concept, combining ceramic construction, minimalist case design, and a camo dial that relies on texture rather than color to define its character.
