Horage Unveils The Deca Flux And In-House K3 Movement
Horage, the Swiss watch brand based in Biel Bienne, has just unveiled its latest creation, the new DecaFlux. Alongside this remarkable timepiece, the brand introduces its new in-house K3 movement, which it proudly announces is available for other brands.

The Horage DecaFlux features a meticulously crafted round 316 LMo stainless steel case, measuring 40mm in diameter, 9.98mm in thickness, and 46mm in length. The polished surfaces contrast elegantly with a brushed profile, creating a refined aesthetic. A sapphire crystal with five anti-reflective layers provides optimal legibility, with a red coating for the black variant and a blue coating for the blue version. The watch is designed with a smooth bezel, a signed crown positioned at 3 o’clock, an exhibition case back, and an impressive water resistance of 100 meters.

The timepiece is available in two striking dial colors: polished black and sunray blue. Its refined dial design is enhanced by rhodium-plated indexes and pencil hands filled with Super-LumiNova, ensuring exceptional readability. A distinct lightning-bolt-shaped central seconds hand in light blue and red adds a dynamic touch, while a printed minute and second track with Arabic numerals and dashes along the edges ensures precision. The brand’s logo is prominently displayed at noon, with three lines of text at 6 o’clock showcasing the model’s name and its coveted “Chronometer Officially Certified” designation.

Powering the DecaFlux is the new 25-jewel K3 automatic movement, a chronometer-certified caliber that underscores Horage’s commitment to precision and innovation. The movement incorporates several silicon components, providing enhanced durability and superior resistance to magnetic fields. Operating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour, it delivers an impressive accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day and offers an extended power reserve of up to four days.

Completing the sophisticated design is a three-row stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, featuring 10mm micro-adjustments and the brand’s logo for added functionality and comfort. Priced at CHF 2,500, the Deca Flux is the most accessible timepiece in Horage’s collection, making high-end Swiss watchmaking more attainable for enthusiasts.

The Horage DecaFlux seamlessly blends technical innovation with timeless design. Its dial evokes a resemblance to the Rolex Milgauss, particularly due to the distinctive lightning-bolt seconds hand. However, the watch carves its own identity with refined details and superior craftsmanship. While a smaller case size might have been preferable for some, the 40mm diameter is a strategic choice to appeal to a broader audience. This latest release from Horage demonstrates the brand’s dedication to precision engineering, aesthetic refinement, and accessibility in luxury watchmaking.
