Italian watchmaker Unimatic has introduced a new mechanical chronograph in partnership with Canadian menswear retailer Henry Singer. The limited-edition Modello Tre U3S-HS marks the evolution of the brand’s chronograph offering, blending a stealthy, all-grey aesthetic with serious mechanical credentials.

Case and Design

Encased in Unimatic’s familiar bold silhouette, the 40 mm stainless steel case is fully brushed and built for resilience. At 15.20 mm thick, it delivers a commanding wrist presence without unnecessary bulk. A grey ceramic bezel insert with engraved markings adds a functional edge, while the unidirectional diving scale is enhanced with Super-LumiNova in blue, matching the lume on the minute hand for clear underwater readability. In contrast, the hour markers, hour hand, and chronograph seconds hand glow with a pale yellow (beige) Super-LumiNova, providing visual depth and tonal contrast against the cool grey dial.

The dial itself features a bi-compax chronograph layout. A 30-minute totalizer sits at 3 o’clock, while the running seconds subdial is placed at 9 o’clock. Clean white printing ensures legibility, while maintaining the minimalist, utilitarian style that defines Unimatic’s design language.

Movement and Caseback

The watch is powered by the Sellita SW510 BH b, a Swiss-made automatic chronograph movement with a 62-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its reliable performance is visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback—a refined detail rarely found in Unimatic’s typical offerings.

Bracelet and Additional Strap

Completing the package is a brushed steel bracelet, custom-fitted for the case and designed for durability. Also included is a grey leather two-piece strap, providing versatility for different occasions and styles, all within the same restrained color palette.
