Green And Ice Blue: Vulcain Adds Two Limited Skindiver Chronographs

Vulcain expands its Skindiver Chronograph line with the introduction of two new color variants — Green and Ice Blue — each produced in a limited run of 100 pieces. Unlike the previous models that joined the brand’s permanent collection, these new references are designed as exclusive editions, offering collectors a more distinctive take on the 1960s-inspired diving chronograph.

Refreshed Color Palette

The new Green edition pairs a rich green dial with silver sub-dials, bringing a vibrant yet balanced look to the Skindiver’s classic bi-compax layout. The Ice Blue edition offers a cooler aesthetic, featuring a silver dial accented by ice blue sub-dials, resulting in a crisp and contemporary contrast. Both retain the hallmark outer tachymeter and decimal scales, ensuring the chronograph’s dual-purpose timing capabilities remain intact.

Familiar Architecture

While the colorways are new, the core design and specifications of the Skindiver Chronograph remain unchanged. The 39.70 mm stainless steel case is water-resistant to 200 meters, and features a black bidirectional ceramic bezel marked with 60-minute and 12-hour scales. A domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, and pump-style pushers complete the robust construction.

These editions are offered with a choice of the latest hinged steel bracelet or integrated rubber straps matched to the dial colors — green for the Green edition and ice blue for the Ice Blue edition.

Proven Movement

Inside, both watches are powered by the ETA Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph movement. This dependable calibre operates at 4Hz and provides a 42-hour power reserve, driving the clean bi-compax display without a date window for a symmetrical layout.
