Goodbye to Sean Connery, the most famous secret agent 007
At the age of 90, Sean Connery dies leaving a huge legacy as an actor. He was the first actor to embody the character 007, the famous British agent in the service of Her Majesty, and dressed as James Bond in seven films that last until today. However, he participated in many other films, such as “Indiana Jones”, “The Hunt for Red October”, “The Untouchables”, “The Rock”, among many others. Throughout his career, he was recognized with an Oscar, three Golden Globes and two Bafta awards.
It was in the first film of the 007 “Dr. No” in 1962 we saw Sean Connery playing the role of James Bond and wearing a Rolex ‘Submariner’ on his wrist and since then, despite the fact that numerous other watch brands have been worn by the character James Bond over the years, it was the Rolex Submariner ‘who was forever associated with the famous agent.
It was also with Sean Connery wearing James Bond skin that it was possible to see one of the most beautiful cars of the British brand Aston Martin driving the DB5 in the 007 films “Goldfinger” in 1964 and since then it has become the most well-known car brand driven by James Bond in the 007 films.
Sean Connery, removed from the cinema since 2003, has always been a supporter of Scotland’s independence from the United Kingdom, in recent years he has divided his time between the United States, Spain and his residence in the Bahamas, where he died, alongside his family.
