From Steel To Titanium: Unimatic Expands Modello Uno Range With Prodiver Models

Unimatic, the independent watch brand known for its tool-oriented design approach, has introduced its most powerful dive watches — the Modello Uno Prodiver Collection. This new series builds on the familiar Modello Uno platform, but with upgraded specifications aimed squarely at professional underwater performance.

Stainless Steel Prodiver Models – PD3-B and PD3-OR

The U1-PD3-B and U1-PD3-OR share a robust 316L stainless steel case with a water resistance of 300 meters. Dimensions come in at 41.50 mm in diameter, 49 mm lug-to-lug, and 14.40 mm thick including the sapphire crystal. The case features brushed finishing, a solid screw-down caseback, and a screw-down crown with integrated guards.

For precise dive timing, both models use a 120-click unidirectional bezel with a matte ceramic insert. The scale is fully graduated and marked with Super-LumiNova at five-minute intervals for optimal legibility in low-light conditions.

The U1-PD3-B pairs a matte black dial with a matching black bezel, creating a discreet and tactical look. In contrast, the U1-PD3-OR features a high-visibility International Orange dial, recalling the color schemes of classic professional diving instruments.

The dials are designed for quick reading, with oversized geometric markers — circles, bars, and a triangle at 12 o’clock — all filled with Super-LumiNova, along with broad hour and minute hands and a lollipop-style seconds hand. Both watches are powered by the Seiko NH35A automatic movement, operating at 21,600 vph with a 41-hour power reserve.

Titanium Prodiver – PD6-B

The flagship U1S-T-PD6-B introduces Grade 2 titanium to the Modello Uno family, combining strength with reduced weight. This version is engineered for extreme depths, boasting a 600-meter water resistance rating. The sandblasted titanium case has the same dimensions as the stainless steel models including the 3mm-thick domed sapphire crystal.

Like the steel versions, it features a matte black ceramic bezel insert with luminous markings. The matte black dial offers maximum contrast with its luminous markers and hands, and adds a date display at 6 o’clock for enhanced functionality. Inside is the Sellita SW200-1a automatic movement, running at 28,800 vph and providing a 41-hour power reserve.

Straps, Production, and Pricing

All three models come fitted with a black NATO strap and are produced in limited runs of 300 pieces each, individually numbered. Packaging follows Unimatic’s signature presentation style.

Pricing is set at € 750 (excluding VAT) for the stainless steel PD3 models and € 1,500 (excluding VAT) for the titanium PD6.
