Fresh Look: New Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise 38mm And 41mm
Omega expands its Seamaster Aqua Terra collection with two striking new models in turquoise, available in 38 mm and 41 mm. Both references feature a vibrant lacquered dial with a black gradient effect, paired with a ceramic bezel and a sporty rubber strap with turquoise stitching. The result is a modern and highly versatile design that offers strong contrast and depth.
Design and Materials
The most eye-catching element of these new Aqua Terra watches is the turquoise dial, finished with layers of lacquer and varnish to create a glossy surface that shifts under the light. The gradient darkening toward the edges enhances the sense of depth, while the grey PVD-treated hour markers, hands, and Omega logo add a refined, technical touch.

Both versions feature a polished stainless steel case, equipped with a domed sapphire crystal that has anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The polished ceramic bezel, complementing the darker tones of the hands and markers. At night, white Super-LumiNova applied to the indices and hands glows in blue for excellent legibility.

Instead of the Aqua Terra’s traditional bracelet, Omega equips these models with a black rubber strap. Designed for comfort and durability, the strap features a textured finish, contrasting turquoise stitching, and a fold-over clasp. An additional polished link gives it an integrated look, blending seamlessly with the case.
The 38 mm Version
The smaller of the two new models comes in a 38 mm polished steel case that measures 12.36 mm in thickness and 45 mm from lug to lug, with a lug width of 19 mm. Inside beats the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, an automatic movement that runs at 3.5Hz and provides a power reserve of 55 hours. The calibre features a silicon “Si14” balance spring and offers magnetic resistance up to 15,000 Gauss. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback, where the free-sprung balance, Geneva waves in arabesque, and blackened screws, barrel, and balance wheel can all be admired. Like all Aqua Terras, this version is water-resistant to 150 meters.
The 41 mm Version
The larger 41 mm edition has a case thickness of 13.26 mm, a lug-to-lug length of 48 mm, and a lug width of 20 mm. It is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900, a twin-barrel movement that extends the power reserve to 60 hours while maintaining the same 3.5Hz frequency as the smaller calibre. The finishing is similar to the Calibre 8800, with Geneva waves in arabesque and blackened components visible through the sapphire display back. It also shares the same magnetic resistance of up to 15,000 Gauss and water resistance of 150 meters.

Shared Features
Both models carry METAS Master Chronometer certification, ensuring precision, durability, and outstanding magnetic resistance. Their combination of a turquoise gradient dial, grey ceramic bezel, and contrasting black rubber strap gives them a contemporary look with strong presence on the wrist.
Price and Availability
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise is available in both 38mm and 41mm sizes, each priced at € 7,800.

Final Thoughts
Last year, Omega introduced two very similar Aqua Terra watches, so don’t think you’re going crazy. They came with a steel bezel to match their respective bracelets. The move here was to introduce a dark grey ceramic bezel, which, like the 2024 editions, now matches the rubber strap with turquoise stitching.
In a world of constant change, the introduction of small nuances in watches has long been a reality that may not delight purists, but it will certainly delight many others seeking constant innovations, a market niche that is increasingly competitive among brands.
In the end, we have two very appealing new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra watches that we believe will add value to the collection.
