Freelancer Line Grows: Raymond Weil Unveils Two Complete Calendar Watches
Raymond Weil expands its Freelancer collection with the introduction of the Complete Calendar complication, enhancing its lineup with two elegant new timepieces. Launched in 2007 by Elie Bernheim, the Freelancer series has built a reputation for versatility, offering a range of designs for both men and women, featuring various case shapes and sophisticated complications. The latest additions embrace a refined aesthetic, combining classic watchmaking elements with modern functionality.

The new Raymond Weil Freelancer Complete Calendar watches come in a 40mm stainless steel case, measuring just 10.15mm in thickness. One version features a polished stainless steel finish, while the other boasts a luxurious rose gold PVD coating. Both models exhibit a harmonious mix of polished surfaces and brushed flanks, complemented by a smooth bezel and chamfered lugs. A recessed fluted crown at 3 o’clock, sculpted with the brand’s logo, ensures an elegant touch, while sapphire crystal on both the front and back offers durability and clarity. With a water resistance of 100 meters, these timepieces are designed for everyday wear without compromising sophistication.

The dials present a sunray-brushed finish, available in deep blue for the stainless steel model and a warm dune shade for the rose gold PVD variant. Applied indexes with luminescent accents enhance legibility, perfectly matching the luminous hands. A double window at 12 o’clock displays the day and month, shaded by the Raymond Weil logo, while a beautifully painted moon phase sub-dial at 6 o’clock features a starry blue sky with gray moons. This sub-dial also incorporates a date pointer, ensuring a balanced and visually engaging layout. Completing the design is a minute and second track on the rehaut, adding precision to the display.

Powering these sophisticated timepieces is the Caliber RW3281 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW300-1. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it delivers a reliable 56-hour power reserve, making it a robust choice for enthusiasts seeking performance and elegance.

Raymond Weil offers the stainless steel edition with a matching bracelet, secured by a folding clasp, while the rose gold PVD model is paired with a rich brown calfskin leather strap, complete with a deployant clasp in the same finish as the case. These exquisite timepieces are available at a retail price of CHF 3,495, further cementing the Freelancer collection’s reputation for timeless style and technical excellence.
