Frederique Constant Presents Two New Highlife Automatic COSC In Green And Blue
Frederique Constant, who just a few days ago presented the new Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar LE included in the Highlife collection, now brings two new Highlife Automatic COSC 39mm in its most basic time and date version.
The collection that was reborn in 2020, and which is based on the chic sports watch with an integrated bracelet, now adds two new color variants on the dial, in dark green and dark blue, which for now is only available in the more moderate 39mm version .
On the outside, there is no change to note, wearing the traditional Tonneau-shaped stainless steel case that features a satin finish on the surfaces and polished on the sides, crown and bezel. Domed sapphire crystal, open-through case back and 100m water resistance.
The dial presents the usual layout based on a background engraved with a globe, presenting a gradient effect with a center in lighter tones that darken at the top and bottom almost becoming black. Applied silver-plated hour markers and pencil hands all filled with Super -LumiNova, a center seconds hand, a framed date window at 3 o’clock right next to the crown, a white minute-second track and finally the plaque-shaped inscriptions with the brand’s lettering at noon and ‘Cerified Chronometer ‘ followed by ‘Automatic’ at 6 o’clock.
Powered by the FC-303 automatic movement which is based on the Sellita SW200-1, it is COSC certified like its peers, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The watch is attached to an integrated steel bracelet with mainly satin finish and central interconnection links polished with a folding clasp and the interchangeable strap system that allows to quickly change straps without using any tools.
The watch is now available for sale in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for the same price as the other existing variants, which is €1,995.
