Frederique Constant Presents Classic Worldtimer Manufacture “Summer of 76”

Thinking about the important date of the 4th of July which marks the Independence Day of the United States, Frederique Constant launches a limited and exclusive edition for the US market of its Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, the “Summer of 76”.

This exclusive edition consists of just 76 pieces that allude to the year 1776 in which the thirteen colonies declared their formal separation from the British Empire.

The latest Classic Worldtimer comes in a traditional stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter by 12.10mm in thickness with a polished finish, fluted crown, sapphire crystal front and back and 50 meters of water resistance.

It is on the dial that we can find some nuances of colours alluding to the date, with the world map in the centre being painted in shades of light blue and silver, the 24-hour disc in two colours, in white indicating the daytime hours and in blue indicating the night hours, a white city disc with 24 cities and the US flag, blue hour and minute hands in the centre and a red seconds hand, and finally, a subdial date indicator at 6 o’clock with also, accents in blue and red.

Inside, the  In-house automatic movement Caliber FC-718 operates, whose single crown adjusts all the functions of the watch and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.

The watch comes with a red alligator leather strap with off-white stitching, as well as an additional white alligator leather strap and a blue rubber strap.

Although it will only be available in November from the brand’s official retailers, pre-orders are now accepted and the watch will be available at a price of USD 4,795.
