Frederique Constant Moneta Moonphase Adds Gold-Tone Model And Bracelet Option
Frederique Constant expands its Classics Moneta Moonphase collection with two elegant new variations, offering refined design and practicality at an accessible price point. The models showcase traditional aesthetics, versatile proportions, and the charm of a moonphase complication, all powered by a reliable quartz movement.

Case Design
The Classics Moneta Moonphase maintains the well-balanced dimensions that define this line: 37 mm in diameter and 7.65 mm in thickness. Slim enough to slip under a cuff, the polished case is available in two finishes: stainless steel for a modern, versatile look, and a yellow gold-tone stainless steel case for a warm, vintage-inspired presence. Both are water-resistant to 50 metres, suitable for everyday wear while remaining unmistakably dress-oriented.
Dial Details
The stainless steel model features a blue sunray dial, paired with faceted applied indices and hand-polished dauphine hands. A moonphase display at six o’clock is framed by a golden ring, and the dial is encircled by a distinctive coined flange, placed beneath the sapphire crystal—a detail that gives the collection its “Moneta” name.

The gold-tone variant comes with a silver sunray dial, complete with case-matching indices and hands. This model marks an absolute debut in the Classics Moneta Moonphase line, standing out for its timeless elegance.
It’s worth noting that the steel model with a blue dial is not entirely new—it was already part of the collection alongside black and silver-dial versions, originally paired with leather straps. The key update here is the introduction of a Milanese mesh bracelet, which gives the watch a fresh, contemporary touch.
Strap and Bracelet Options
The gold-tone version is fitted with a brown leather strap and matching pin buckle, while the steel blue-dial model now arrives on a steel mesh bracelet with quick-release functionality for easy changes. This evolution expands the versatility of the Moneta Moonphase, especially for those who prefer the comfort and look of a bracelet over leather.

Movement
Inside both watches is the Frederique Constant FC-206 quartz calibre, offering up to 60 months of battery life. The movement is housed beneath a solid stainless steel caseback and ensures that the moonphase complication remains a low-maintenance yet elegant feature.
