Denim has rarely looked this refined. Frederique Constant takes its elegant rectangular Carrée and gives it an unexpected new identity, combining a polished steel case with a brushed indigo dial and a matching denim strap. The result is a dress watch that swaps conventional formality for texture, colour and a distinctly contemporary character.

Compact and Refined

The polished stainless steel case retains the Carrée’s distinctive rectangular profile, stepped sides and onion-shaped crown. Measuring 25.20 mm wide, 36 mm long and just 5.85 mm thick, it has a particularly slim and discreet presence on the wrist.

The polished case contrasts with the more casual character of the textile strap, which features a leather lining, white stitching, blue leather details and a steel pin buckle.

Denim on the Dial

The real highlight is the brushed indigo dial. Inspired by the traditional textile associated with Nîmes, its diagonal white texture recreates the visual effect of denim’s blue warp and white weft threads.

Frederique Constant keeps the dial exceptionally clean, removing conventional hour markers and a minute track. Only the brand name and two polished hands remain, with a spade-shaped hour hand and leaf-shaped minute hand.

There is also no seconds hand, reinforcing the minimalist appearance.

Quartz Power

Inside is Frederique Constant’s FC-200 quartz calibre. Its slim construction contributes to the watch’s 5.85mm profile, while the battery offers approximately six years of autonomy.

It is a straightforward choice that keeps the watch thin and practical without distracting from its design.
