Fears × Studio Underd0g Return With The Manhattan Cocktail On The Wrist

Two British watchmakers, each with very different identities, have teamed up once again. Following the London-exclusive Gimlet earlier this year, Fears and Studio Underd0g return with another cocktail-inspired creation—the Fears × Studio Underd0g Manhattan. This new model will be available in a limited run of 300 pieces, sold exclusively at Windup Watch Fair NYC starting October 17, priced at USD 1,300.

Case and Construction

The Manhattan is based on the cushion-shaped case of the Fears Brunswick. Measuring 38 mm in diameter, 12 mm in thickness, and 43.50 mm lug-to-lug, it offers a vintage-inspired profile. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, the case is fitted with a sapphire crystal on the front and a solid steel case back engraved with a pair of cocktail cherries. The watch is also rated to 100 meters of water resistance, making it versatile for daily wear.

A Dial with Depth and Warmth

The standout feature of the Manhattan is its layered dial construction, designed to capture the essence of its cocktail inspiration. The base layer features a sunburst silver plate with a radial fumé effect, creating a sense of depth. On top sits a 1mm-thick amber sapphire disc, secured by two visible slotted-head pins.

This combination produces a striking play of light and shadow, giving the dial a rich amber tone reminiscent of a glass of Manhattan under the light. Printed details appear to float above the dial surface, adding to the three-dimensional effect.

Movement

Inside the Manhattan beats the Sellita SW210-1, a Swiss hand-wound movement operating at 28,800 vph. The caliber features hacking seconds and provides a 42-hour power reserve, staying true to the mechanical traditions both brands admire.

Strap

The watch comes on a tobacco-brown leather strap handmade by The Strap Tailor, featuring quick-release spring bars and a co-signed pin buckle.

Limited and Exclusive

With only 300 units produced, the Fears × Studio Underd0g Manhattan will be available exclusively at Windup Watch Fair NYC. The collaboration blends the classical design language of Fears with the creative energy of Studio Underd0g, resulting in a timepiece that balances tradition with a fresh, modern twist.
