Fears Presents The Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour
The new Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour watch from Fears takes the renowned Brunswick collection to a new level of sophistication, introducing a jump-hour system as its standout feature. Following last year’s successful collaboration with Christopher Ward on the Alliance 01, Fears has now crafted a timepiece that combines technical innovation with classic design.
At the heart of the Brunswick 40.5 is its jump-hour complication, a visually captivating system that enhances the minimalist appeal of the dial. Available in three striking variants, the watch showcases different colour schemes and finishes that cater to various tastes. Whether you prefer the boldness of Raven Black, the vibrant Coral, or the exclusive Mallard Green edition, each version offers a unique aesthetic with refined attention to detail.
The Brunswick 40.5 retains its signature cushion-shaped stainless steel case, now slightly larger due to the incorporation of the jump-hour module. Measuring 40.50mm in width and 12.80mm in height, the case features a brushed finish on the surfaces, while the bezel, lugs, and ball-shaped crown are polished for contrast. With a solid case back and a water resistance of up to 100 meters, this timepiece is both stylish and durable.
On the dial, you’ll find a round-shaped window displaying the hours against a white background, complemented by a single-minute hand positioned at the centre. The hand glides over an Arabic numeral-adorned minute ring, further enhancing the watch’s minimalist design. The Raven Black variant pairs a black dial with an Azzure centre and a sunburst outer ring, while the Coral option offers a glossy pink lacquer background, framed by a black minute ring. The Mallard Green edition, an exclusive boutique offering, features a green dial with an Azzure centre, a sunburst outer ring, and a metallic minute ring.
Powering the Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour is the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, a 25-jewel mechanism equipped with Christopher Ward’s JJ01 module. This Swiss movement operates at 28,800 Vph and delivers a power reserve of up to 38 hours, ensuring reliable performance.
For added versatility, the watch is available with either a leather strap with a steel pin buckle or a five-row stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp. Priced at €4,100 for the leather strap version and €4,300 for the bracelet option plus VAT.
