Favre Leuba Introduces The Deep Raider Revival Jean Rousseau Limited Editions
Favre Leuba has joined forces with French strap specialist Jean Rousseau for a new limited-edition interpretation of the Deep Raider Revival. The collaboration brings together three versions of the vintage-inspired diver, each distinguished by its strap material, stitching, dial details and dedicated caseback.

At the heart of the collection is the Deep Raider Revival’s compact 39 mm stainless-steel case, measuring 12.75 mm thick. Its proportions remain faithful to the character of a contemporary dive watch while retaining a relatively restrained footprint on the wrist. Water resistance reaches 300 metres, complemented by a unidirectional 60-minute diving bezel.
The dial combines a grey sunray-brushed base with beige-coloured hour markers and hands, creating a deliberately aged-looking palette that reinforces the watch’s retro character. The three editions are further differentiated through the colour of the seconds hand and the Favre Leuba hourglass logo positioned between 10 and 11 o’clock.

Powering the watches is the FLD01 automatic calibre, based on the La Joux-Perret G100. The movement provides a substantial 68-hour power reserve, making the Deep Raider Revival suitable for use beyond the traditional weekend cycle.
The most traditional of the three versions is fitted with a black calf-leather strap featuring a soja grain texture, complemented by light-brown stitching. The black treatment extends to the seconds hand and hourglass logo, while the caseback carries an image representing a leather hide, directly connecting the reverse of the watch with its strap material.

The second interpretation introduces a brown fabric strap made from recycled material, with a textured appearance punctuated by lighter beige details and finished with dark-brown stitching. Its emphasis on recycled fibres is reflected on the caseback, where an image of Earth reinforces the environmental inspiration behind this version.
Completing the trio is the beige rubber strap, arguably the most naturally suited to the watch’s diving credentials. Unlike the leather alternative, the rubber construction is fully waterproof and gives the Deep Raider Revival a more overtly sporty character. The caseback consequently features an image of a rubber automobile wheel, adding another unexpected connection between the strap material and its presentation.

Each version is limited to just 33 pieces, resulting in a total production run of 99 watches. Despite the different straps, dial accents and specially decorated casebacks, the watches retain the same core technical specifications and movement.
The Favre Leuba Deep Raider Revival Jean Rousseau is priced at € 2,700, matching the price of the regular Deep Raider Revival on a steel bracelet. That means the limited-edition collaboration does not carry an additional premium for the Jean Rousseau straps or the exclusive details, which makes the trio particularly interesting for collectors.
Our Opinion
The collaboration works because it treats the strap as more than a simple accessory. Each material gives the Deep Raider Revival a noticeably different personality while the shared grey, beige and steel colour scheme keeps the three versions connected.

The 39 mm case is also a welcome choice for a modern diver, offering a more compact alternative to the larger dimensions often associated with contemporary dive watches. Combined with 300-metre water resistance, a 68-hour automatic movement and three very different strap executions, the Deep Raider Revival Jean Rousseau presents a compelling combination of vintage-inspired design and everyday practicality.
