Farer Expands The Acqua Compressor Titanium Collection
The English brand Farer has just expanded the Aqua Compressor collection present since 2017, with two new models that join the Titanium Series II.
This series of ultra-light dive watches weighing just 62g, which until now only had one black model, now adds a variant with a red dial called ‘Hecla Carmine Red’ and another with a white dial full lumed titled ‘Endeavor Ocean White’.
The two new entries are once again dressed in a Grade 2 Titanium C case with dimensions of 41mm in diameter, 12.50mm in thickness and 45mm lug-to-lug distance, which comes with a satin brushed finish on the surfaces and polished on the sides and back, sapphire glass both sides, two screw-down crows at 2 and 4 o’clock with the brand’s signature and 300m waterproof.
The ‘Hecla Carmine Red’ comes with a matte red dial whose tone also extends to the inner bezel on the flange, and on which we can find applied white ceramic Arabic numerals and hour markers that, together with the central pencil hands and the seconds hand arrow- shape tip come filled with luminescent material.
While the ‘Endeavor Ocean White’ comes with a white dial with a textured wave-shaped pattern that, together with the rotating bezel, comes fully filled with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova that glows green in the dark. In it we can find the same applied hour markers, Arabic numerals and three central hands which here come in black producing an excellent contrast with the white background.
Inside, it operates the Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré Non-Date, automatic movement, which runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve. Which is possible to observe through the rear window with its central rotor decorated with a wave design and the inscription ‘Farer Submersible’.
Both watches come attached to an integrated ribbed rubber strap in shades of red or black matching the dial for a price of €1,210, which you can complement with an additional titanium bracelet for an additional €255.
As usual, Farer continues to support marine conservation and in this sense part of the sales of these watches goes to benefit The Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) in Scotland, aiming to reach the target of £50,000.
