Farer Expands Cushion Case Collection With Four New Watches
Farer, the British watch brand, brings four new watches to its Cushion case collection including a limited edition with Arabic Eastern numerals.
The four newest references embrace different styles with different dials and different shades that are unlikely to leave anyone out.
But before we look into each of them, let’s see the common points. The watches come with a Tonneau-shaped steel case measuring 38.50mm by 10.50mm that features a mainly polished finish, sapphire glass, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s logo, see-through case back held by 4 screws and 50m water resistance. On the dial, we find the usual layout of two centre hands and a small second at 6 o’clock driven by the Sellita SW216-1 Elaboré Grade movement that runs 28,800 Vph and 45 hours of power reserve.
The new additions include the Banham with a cherry red horizontal striped dial, white chapter ring, light blue small seconds hand, applied baton hour markers, Dauphine’s hands with luminescent material, and, a brushed bezel.
Then we have the Mansfield Midnight with a navy blue dial, a recessed centre, gilt accents that include applied Arabic numerals, faceted slim hands and a railroad minute track.
The Lethbridge Gold stands out for coming with a gold PVD steel case matching the indexes on the champagne dial that follow the same configuration as the Mansfield Midnight.
Last but not least, the Dugham Pullman Eastern Arabic, a limited edition of 100 pieces that feature a green dial with polished Eastern Arabic numerals in place of the traditional Western Arabic numerals and baton hour markers with the same arrangement as the Lethbridge Gold and Mansfield Midnight.
The watches offer several leather strap options for a price of €1,075 or a steel bracelet for an additional €180 of the base price. The ship is scheduled to depart on August 15 for the Banham and Mansfield Midnight variants, October 3 for Lethbridge Gold and December 5 for Dugham Pullman Eastern Arabic.
