Farer Aqua Compressor Returns With Upgraded Movement & Bold New Designs
Farer has unveiled a refreshed trio in its Aqua Compressor collection for 2025, introducing a set of design updates and a significant technical enhancement. Since its debut in 2017, the Aqua Compressor has established itself as a core part of Farer’s dive watch lineup. This latest release marks the first time the model moves away from its long-time movement supplier, incorporating the La Joux-Perret G101 caliber for improved performance.

Titanium Construction and Compressor Design
All three models continue to use the brand’s signature 41 mm Grade 2 titanium compressor case, measuring 12.50 mm thick with a compact 45 mm lug-to-lug span. This material choice keeps the watch remarkably lightweight at just 62 grams. The Aqua Compressor remains a true compressor-style diver, achieving 300 meters of water resistance through the compression of internal gaskets as external pressure increases underwater.

Equipped with dual titanium crowns—both screw-down with dual gaskets—the upper crown controls time-setting functions, while the lower operates the internal rotating timing bezel. Even when unscrewed, the case retains a water resistance of 100 meters, offering robust functionality for various aquatic environments.
Upgraded Movement: La Joux-Perret G101
Replacing the Sellita SW200, the new La Joux-Perret G101 movement brings notable enhancements. With a 68-hour power reserve and a high-grade “soignée” finishing standard, this automatic caliber offers more efficient operation and timekeeping accuracy. The movement is visible through a sapphire exhibition case back, where it is finished with a dark graphite PVD coating and features a custom rotor etched with a golden wave motif.

Distinct Dial Variants and Features
The first model in the trio is the Endeavour, a modernized version of a Farer classic. It features a matte black grained dial paired with a vivid green-tipped seconds hand and pale blue Super-LumiNova applied to the hour and minute hands. The lume has been upgraded to Grade X2 Super-LumiNova across the entire collection, ensuring improved legibility in low-light conditions.

Next is the Endeavour Ocean Blue, which introduces a darker, more contemporary aesthetic. This version features a deep blue PVD-coated titanium case, complemented by a matching blue rubber strap. Its dial is fully lumed in white, contrasted by dark navy markers and hands. Beneath the lume, a printed wave pattern adds subtle visual complexity, giving the watch a unique character when examined up close.

Rounding out the collection is the Hecla Hunter Green edition, which stands apart with a textured waffle-pattern dial in a bold green tone. The applied indices take a different approach from the other two models, combining Arabic numerals at twelve, three, six, and nine o’clock with rectangular batons at the remaining positions. These indices are crafted from Lumicast—a mix of Super-LumiNova and ceramic—creating a three-dimensional structure that enhances nighttime visibility and adds depth to the dial.
Pricing and Availability
The Farer Aqua Compressor Endeavour and Hecla Hunter Green are priced at € 1,375, while the Endeavour Ocean Blue comes in slightly higher at € 1,425, reflecting its specialized case treatment and dial construction. Continuing its support for ocean conservation, Farer has committed a portion of the proceeds from each Aqua Compressor sold to the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust.
