Exploring The Armin Strom One Week Manufacture Edition Blue
Armin Strom continues to refine its vision of mechanical purity with the new One Week Manufacture Edition Blue, a watch that showcases the brand’s signature engineering and design philosophy in an elegant yet technical form.

Originally launched in 2010, the One Week introduced Armin Strom’s first fully in-house movement with a full week of autonomy. The concept was reimagined in 2023 with the One Week First Edition, and now returns as the Manufacture Edition Blue — a model that blends refined finishing, architectural depth, and daily practicality.
A Balanced and Refined Case Design
Crafted from stainless steel, the 41 mm case of the One Week Manufacture Edition Blue maintains the collection’s modern integrated design. Measuring 10.60 mm in height and 44.35 mm lug-to-lug, it strikes a balance between wrist presence and comfort. The brushed and polished surfaces create a strong visual contrast, while the guarded crown at 3 o’clock adds functionality and structure.

The watch is fitted with a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal and offers 100 meters of water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear. Completing the ensemble is a robust integrated steel bracelet with a double-folding clasp, ensuring a seamless and contemporary look.
An Architectural Dial with Technical Depth
In keeping with Armin Strom’s openworked style, the dial removes traditional layers to reveal the mechanics beneath. A deep blue PVD-coated mainplate serves as the visual foundation, framed by a black minute ring with faceted indexes filled with Super-LumiNova. Rhodium-plated hands, also luminescent, ensure legibility against the rich blue backdrop.

At 9 o’clock sits a small seconds subdial, while the brand’s signature three-dimensional power reserve indicator is positioned at 10:30. This cone-shaped display, driven by a conical gear mirrored between 7 and 8 o’clock, provides a tactile and kinetic sense of energy storage — a hallmark of the One Week series. The twin ratchet wheels and twin barrels visible on the dial enhance the sense of motion and mechanical balance.
The In-House Calibre ARM21
Powering the One Week Manufacture Edition Blue is the hand-wound Calibre ARM21, developed, produced, and finished entirely in-house. The movement operates at 25,200 vibrations per hour and features two barrels in series, delivering a full seven-day power reserve. Its balance wheel with four regulating screws ensures consistent precision over the course of the week.

Finishing is exemplary, combining straight and circular graining, Geneva stripes, hand-polished bevels, blued screws, and matte-grained textures — a meticulous interplay of surfaces that highlights Armin Strom’s craftsmanship.
Limited and Collectible
With its refined blue tones and balanced design, the One Week Manufacture Edition Blue represents the most wearable and versatile iteration of the series to date. Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, this exclusive model is priced at CHF 32,000.

A perfect fusion of technical mastery and restrained elegance, the Armin Strom One Week Manufacture Edition Blue reaffirms the brand’s dedication to horological excellence and modern aesthetics.
