Enduropale Turns 50 With Baltic’s Exclusive Hermétique Dual Time
The Enduropale, France’s iconic enduro bike race, celebrates its 50th anniversary with an exclusive collaboration with Baltic, unveiling the limited edition Hermétique Dual Time Enduropale. This release offers a perfect fusion of rugged design and sophisticated watchmaking, appealing to motorsport enthusiasts and collectors alike.
Based on the renowned Hermétique Tourrier model, this timepiece introduces a second time zone function through a 12-hour inner bezel operated by a crown positioned at 9 o’clock.
The stainless steel case measures 37mm in diameter and 10.80mm thick, boasting a primarily brushed finish for a sleek yet robust appearance. Key design features include a smooth bezel, drilled lugs, recessed crowns for time-setting and bezel adjustment, and a double-domed sapphire crystal for enhanced durability. The solid case back is engraved with a commemorative motif honoring the half-century milestone of the legendary race. Water resistance is rated at 150 meters, making it both stylish and practical for everyday wear.
The watch’s matte grey dial stands out with raised ceramic indexes and Arabic numerals filled with Super-LumiNova, providing exceptional readability in low light. Syringe-style hands, including a turquoise-green minute hand, harmonize with the bezel’s color accents and the “Enduropale” branding at 6 o’clock. The 12-hour inner bezel features a black base with white inscriptions, complemented by a purple section marking the final three hours of the race, complete with a checkered pattern reminiscent of the race logo.
Powering this limited edition watch is the reliable Miyota 9039 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels, a high-frequency rate of 28,800 Vph, and a 42-hour power reserve. The timepiece is paired with a vibrant turquoise-green Tropic rubber strap, adding a sporty touch while ensuring comfort and durability.
With only 200 numbered units available, the Hermétique Dual Time Enduropale is priced at €600 plus taxes. This special release by Baltic not only marks a significant milestone in motorsport history but also captures the spirit of adventure and precision craftsmanship, making it a must-have for watch enthusiasts and Enduropale fans alike.
