Echo/Neutra Unveils The Cortina 1956 Limited Edition For Coppa D’Oro Delle Dolomiti
The Italian watch brand Echo/Neutra, born in 2018 and dedicated to the production of vintage-inspired sports watches, presents the Cortina 1956 limited edition as the official timekeeper of the Coppa D’Oro delle Dolomiti.
The Coppa D’Oro delle Dolomiti is a speed car race that has existed since 1947, which later in the early 1970s would become a classic car race to this day.
The exclusive timepiece arrives with two colour variants on the dial, one with a blue background and light peach accents and the other with a light peach Panda dial with blue accents, limited to 50 units each.
Housed in a round stainless steel case measuring 40mm wide, 14.10mm high and 46mm long. It features a domed sapphire crystal, tachymeter fixed bezel, pull-push crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pushers, screwed solid case back and 100m of water resistance.
The Bi-Compax dial presents a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a running seconds at 9 with a snailed pattern. A chronograph centre seconds hand with a red-white-red painted tip like all the brand’s watches, and the red motorsport race logo at 6 o’clock.
Inside it runs the 23-jewel Sellita SW510M manual movement, which operates 28,800 Vph and offers between 58 and 63 hours of power reserve.
The watches arrive attached to a tumbled blue leather strap with light peach stitching in different arrangements plus a Milanese Mesh steel bracelet, which can be purchased at the brand’s online store for €1,690.
