Echo/Neutra, the Italian watch brand established in 2019, has partnered with Dutch retailer Ace Jewelers to introduce the limited edition Averau 39 Moon Phase Nootilum. This exclusive timepiece builds on the Averau Moon Phase collection, which debuted three years ago as an evolution of the original Averau field watch. The key upgrade in this model is the addition of a moon phase complication, enhancing its functionality beyond simple time and date tracking.
The new Averau 39 Moon Phase Nootilum retains the design elements of the permanent Black and Blue versions but introduces distinct visual enhancements. It features a matte black dial with a dual moon phase sub-dial at 6 o’clock, displaying both northern and southern hemisphere lunar phases. Unlike its predecessors, which showcased textured moons, the Nootilum edition presents a striking black and white alternating moon phase display. The outlines of the hands and hour markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, along with the moons, are filled with Super-LumiNova BL 10-X 1, producing a captivating blue glow in the dark. A white printed minute and second track lines the outer edge of the dial, while a discreet round date window sits at 3 o’clock.
The case of the Averau 39 Moon Phase Nootilum is crafted from stainless steel, measuring 39mm in diameter, 13.50mm in thickness, and 46mm in length. The finish is predominantly brushed, with polished bevels adding a refined touch. Domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a smooth bezel and a knurled crown featuring the Echo/Neutra logo at 3 o’clock complete the exterior. The solid screw-down case back ensures durability, and the watch offers an impressive 100 meters of water resistance.
At its core, this limited edition timepiece is powered by the reliable Sellita SW280-1 automatic movement.
