Eberhard Unveils Limited Edition Scafograf 200 ‘Onde Bleue’ At Genoa Boat Show
Eberhard & Co., serving as the Official Timekeeper of the 64th Genoa Boat Show, has introduced the limited edition Scafograf 200 “Onde Bleue” dive watch. Limited to just 137 pieces, this exclusive model honors the brand’s 1959 Scafograf heritage and shares many design cues with the iconic Scafograf 300 from their permanent collection.
The Scafograf 200 “Onde Bleue” features a 43mm by 12.60mm stainless steel case, finished with a brushed surface and polished bevels, exuding timeless sophistication. Its unidirectional bezel comes with a blue ceramic insert, and the first quarter-hour is lumed for optimal readability underwater. Protected by domed sapphire glass, the case also houses a screw-down crown positioned at 3 o’clock, which bears the brand’s signature and is shielded by crown guards. A recessed helium escape valve is integrated at 9 o’clock, and the case back showcases an embossed starfish emblem. With 200 meters of water resistance, the watch offers excellent performance, though it stands slightly below the Scafograf 300 in depth rating.
The deep blue dial of the Scafograf 200 “Onde Bleue” presents a wave pattern that evokes the ocean, accented by applied hour markers and oversized triangles at the four cardinal points which together with the hands are filled with vintage luminescent material, complement the overall aesthetic, while a lollipop-style center seconds hand adds a retro touch. A white minute track runs along the outer edge of the dial, matching the brand inscriptions followed by “Automatic” placed at noon. At the 6 o’clock position, the watch bears the label “Edition Limitee Scafograf 200,” confirming its exclusivity. Unlike the Scafograf 300, this model omits a date window, further simplifying its design.
Beneath the dial, the watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement fitted with an Anachron balance spring. While detailed specifications about the movement remain undisclosed, its inclusion ensures precision and reliability.
The Scafograf 200 “Onde Bleue” comes with a three-link steel bracelet equipped with a folding clasp, as well as an additional blue rubber strap with a steel pin buckle, offering versatility between a classic and sporty look.
