Earthen Company Debuts With The Ceramic Summit Collection
Earthen Company, a newly established watch brand based in Hong Kong, is making its debut in 2025 with the launch of the Summit Collection. Founded by watch enthusiasts, the brand’s first release combines modern materials, vintage-inspired proportions, and alpine-themed design elements in an accessible way.

Ceramic Cases with Alpine Character
The Summit Collection consists of three models, each named after ski conditions: Overcast, Whiteout, and Blue Bird. Two different ceramic finishes are used across the line. The Overcast model features a stealthy black ceramic case, while Whiteout and Blue Bird both come in bright white ceramic. All cases measure 38 mm in diameter and 10 mm in height, dimensions that balance wearability with vintage-inspired proportions. The oversized crowns are designed for easy handling, even while wearing gloves, and each crown is recessed with a colored rubber ring that matches the model — blue for Blue Bird, and black for Overcast and Whiteout. On the reverse side, the solid stainless steel casebacks display a circular brushed pattern meant to resemble a bird’s-eye view of mountain peaks, tying the design back to the alpine theme.

Dial Designs
The dials are designed to complement the ceramic cases while ensuring maximum clarity and contrast. Overcast pairs its black ceramic case with a matte black dial and beige lume on the hands and hour markers at the cardinal points. This detail enhances its vintage character, giving it a distinctly retro look that contrasts with the more contemporary designs of Whiteout and Blue Bird. Whiteout plays with strong contrasts, placing a black dial inside a bright white case, while Blue Bird takes on a more striking aesthetic with a fully luminescent white dial that evokes snow-covered slopes.

Across all three versions, the dials share a common design language. Large Arabic numerals dominate the layout, with a triangular marker at 12 o’clock for easy orientation. The bold hour and minute hands are filled with luminous material for visibility in low light, while the seconds hand features a distinctive open-circle counterweight. A detailed railroad track spans the perimeter of the dial for precise reading of the minutes and seconds, and a small skier graphic positioned above six o’clock adds a subtle thematic reference to the collection’s alpine inspiration.
Movement
At the heart of the Summit Collection is the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, part of the company’s top automatic line. This caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with 24 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. Accuracy is rated at -10 to +30 seconds per day, a range that generally proves reliable in daily use.
Straps and Versatility
Each model is delivered with two interchangeable straps, giving wearers the ability to easily switch styles. Overcast comes with a green sailcloth rubber strap paired with a khaki NATO strap, Whiteout is accompanied by a white sailcloth rubber strap and a navy NATO, while Blue Bird offers a baby blue sailcloth rubber strap alongside a light grey NATO. This thoughtful pairing enhances the versatility of the watches, allowing them to adapt to both outdoor use and everyday wear.

Availability and Pricing
The Earthen Company Summit Collection launched on August 31, 2025, with the first run limited to 100 pieces per model. Once the initial batch is sold out, additional production will follow. Each watch is priced at € 784.95, positioning the Summit Collection as an accessible entry into the world of ceramic-cased timepieces.
